We witnessed a just-after-accident.
We run to the scene after hearing a "bang"
3 people and 2 motorcycles lying on road.
A lot of people are at the cross junction,
waiting to cross the road.
Only some came to help.
I called the ambulance.
One say move the uncle to the side,
Another manage to stop him.
One wanted to remove his helmet.
The same one stop him.
We left the scene.
After thoughts:
People were around there, no one run towards them till we reach.
They were nearer.
All was watching. No one hold a phone in hand to call for help.
Maybe their mobiles are low batt.
Taxi pass by and hone at us, maybe he is rushing for time.
All the "volunteers" are of minor races, except for 2 of us.
Maybe the majority are in shock.
One helpful guy (A) wants to move victim to the side, luckily another guy (B) stop him, in fear of internal injuries.
Maybe A is not trained in First Aid. Maybe B is well-knowledgeable. Maybe A dun want to block traffic.
A wants to help remove victim's helmet. B stop him.
Lucky for victim to have B around.
I'm not a racist. I belong to the major race here. I'm not boastful.
However, i'm utterly disgusted by my own race.
Where are they when others need help? They are not far, but they behaved like they are far far away.
Sigh.....
Courage!
I finally found my courage to bring up an important topic to Boss.
Its a very big step for me, in view that it is a bold request, and a may be a stay or quit situation.
A true leader is someone who volunteer to make a difference.
I want to make changes for sake of benefits to company, not for myself only.
I'm not disrespectful. In fact, I respect every being, even if that person does not seems to have any good points.
However, I couldn't make out a person who suddenly found himself a leader. There may be infringements that makes him excited, but he do not want to be a leader.
Such person is a poor soul to me, being make a leader without his consent.
For me, I want to be a leader, and a good one.
One who is passionate about making changes, even to own department.
One who is respected by all.
Although thru work, you may be disliked by being strict, everyone still respect you.
One is dare to make changes....
Freedom of speech
